    Washington and Lee University’s Terrence McKelvey took home a pair of awards in the annual selection of the All-ODAC Baseball Teams on Wednesday afternoon. The senior outfielder was named the ODAC Player of the Year in a vote of the conference’s coaches, and he earned the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete Award.

    Ted Keller, a legendary former coach, athlete and athletic administrator at Randolph-Macon College, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. A native of Winchester, Virginia, Keller graduated from Handley High School in 1949 where he was a star athlete in football, basketball, and track. At Randolph-Macon, he excelled in football and baseball for four years.
  • R-MC Picked to Repeat in ODAC Poll

    Randolph-Macon College received 92 total poll points in the 2009 ODAC Baseball Preseason Poll as the Yellow Jackets were picked as the favorites to repeat as conference champions. R-MC also received six of the ten first place nods in the annual survey of the league's coaches.

    Lynchburg College dedicated the Dan Wooldridge Press box on Wednesday afternoon on Fox Field, home of the Hornet baseball team. Dr. Kenneth Garren, Lynchburg College President, Dr. Jack Toms, LC director of athletics, Wooldridge and Stuart Fauber, Chair of the Board of Trustees, spoke before the unveiling of the plaque outside the two-level press box.
