Jake Loew, Shenandoah, Jr. First Base

Loew, a junior from Binghampton, N.Y., help Shenandoah to a 4-0 showing that included three conference victories to lock up the #1 seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament.  Loew hit .429 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage augmented by four walks, one in each game.  He collected six hits on the week with three going for extra bases. He smacked a homer and drove in two runs in a 6-2 win over Eastern Mennonite. He followed that by going 2-for-4 with a triple, homer and four RBI in a 9-8 triumph at non-conference Elizabethtown. Loew finished the week with a 3-for-7 showing in a sweep (4-1, 8-2) at Lynchburg. He drove in two runs in game one and added another RBI in game two to give him nine for the week. He scored five total runs and added a stolen base to his stat line.  For the season, Loew is fifth in the ODAC with a .385 batting average and second with a .708 slugging percentage.  He leads the league with 47 RBI and six triples.

Baseball Player Weekly Honor Roll

Kyle Armstrong, Eastern Mennonite (Sr. - OF)
Armstrong went 7-for-15 in the Royals 1-3 week. He collected four RBI over the four games, including three as part of a 4-for-5 day in an 11-6 loss to Messiah.

Grayson Tuttle, Guilford (Sr. - C)
Tuttle hit .417 in a 1-2 week for the Quakers. He doubled and drove in three runs in an 11-6 win at Lynchburg. He had two hits each in the two games against Huntingdon in which he appeared, including a double in a 5-3 loss on Saturday.

Joe Tomasulo, Lynchburg (Sr. - 2B)
Tomasulo went 7-for-16 in the Hornets four games last week, including a two three-hit games. He homered as part of a 3-for-5 day in an 11-6 loss to Lynchburg. He added a triple as he went 3-for-3 in game two (L, 8-2) against Shenandoah.

Michael Trentham, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - OF)
Trentham helped R-MC to a 2-1 week in ODAC play that saw the Yellow Jackets secure the second seed in the tournament. He went 8-for-15 with a double, two triples and 10 RBI. He went 6-for-12 in a sweep at E&H in which R-MC outscored the Wasps, 41-8.  He had seven RBI in those two games. 

Will Decker, Roanoke (Jr. - OF)
Decker went 8-for-15 in the Maroons 2-2 week. Five of his hits went for extra bases with three doubles and two homers to post a 1.133 slugging percentage. He doubled and homered with two RBI in a 3-1 win at E&H. He went 4-for-5 with two doubles in a 12-8 loss at Ferrum. He hit his second homer in a 9-5 loss to Bridgewater.
