Earvolino, a senior from Wilmette, Ill., helped the Generals to a pair of victories with two relief appearances in conference road games. Earvolino's first outing was a highlight effort in a 6-5 win at Bridgewater. He entered the game trailing, 2-0, with nobody out and the bases. Not only did he registered three straight outs, but he went on to toss a career-high innings. Earvolino surrendered one unearned run while scattering five hits. He did not walk a batter and fanned six. Earvolino also worked an inning in a 12-11 win at Emory & Henry, giving up one run and striking out a batter. For the season, Earvolino has made 11 appearances, all in relief. He has struck out 12 batters and owns a 3.06 ERA in 17.2 innings of work.
