Parks, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., tossed a gem against Elizabethtown to move to 2-0 on the young season. Parks worked a full 9.0 frames on the way to earning a 6-0 shutout of the Blue Jays. He surrendered just four hits and did not walk a batter despite hitting one. He fanned seven on the way to facing just 32 batters.
