Kulina, a sophomore from Hummelstown, Pa., completely shutdown Emory & Henry as he tossed 6.0 shutout frames on the way to a 15-0 victory in game one of a sweep of the Wasps. Kulina allowed just three baserunners as he surrendered two hits and one batter reached via an error. He did not walk a batter and fanned six including the side in the fourth inning and the final two batters he faced. He finished his time on the hill having retired 10 straight batters. For the season, Kulina is 1-0 in four starts covering 16.2 innings of work. He owns a 2.70 ERA with 16 strikeouts and a .127 batting average against having allowed just seven hits.
