Bucher, a sophomore from Stephens City, Va., earns his second straight weekly award after posting three multi-hit efforts in helping Shenandoah to a 3-0 week against ODAC competition. Pearce slashed .615/.643/1.077 as he went 8-for-13 with two homers, five RBI, four runs scored, and a walk. In a 14-2 win over Washington and Lee, Bucher went 3-for-5 with a RBI and a run scored. He followed with a second 3-for-5 outing in game one against Virginia Wesleyan. He belted a two-run homer on the way to three RBI with two runs scored in a 16-3 SU triumph. In a 7-6 come-from-behind win in game two, Bucher went 2-for-3 with a solo shot and a walk. For the season, the Hornets third baseman is slashing .429/.500/.653, which rank fifth, eighth, and seventh in the ODAC, respectively. He is third in homers (3) and fourth in hits (21) and RBI (17).
