  • Randolph-Macon Mourns the Loss of Ted Keller '53

    Ted Keller, a legendary former coach, athlete and athletic administrator at Randolph-Macon College, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. A native of Winchester, Virginia, Keller graduated from Handley High School in 1949 where he was a star athlete in football, basketball, and track. At Randolph-Macon, he excelled in football and baseball for four years.
  • Ricca, Olivero Earn Top Football Awards

    Catholic shared both major ODAC awards with Keith Ricca and Nick Olivero securing player of the awards. Olivero was also the sports scholar-athlete. R-MC's Pedro Arruza was tabbed the top coach while WLU's Charlie Westfal was selected as the top rookie.
  • Catholic Wins ECAC Southeast Bowl

    Catholic University made the most of its first postseason appearance since 1999, defeating Johns Hopkins University, 18-17, in the ECAC Southeast Bowl. It marked the first postseason triumph for CUA since 1935.
  • R-MC Falls to Mount Union in NCAA's

    Fueled by a 28 point first-half and 290 yards on the ground by Nate Kmic, No. 1 Mount Union topped visiting Randolph-Macon 56-0 in the first-round of the 2008 NCAA Division III Football Tournament. The Yellow Jackets finish their season a with a 6-5 record, securing the school’s first back-to-back winning seasons since the 1996 & 1997 campaigns.

    The Emory & Henry College vs. Catholic University football game on Saturday will be video webcast over the Internet by the ODAC and Penn Atlantic. The contest, set for 1:00 p.m. at Emory & Henry’s Fullerton Stadium, is the third broadcast provided by the ODAC this season and will be provided FREE to the viewers.

    The Bridgewater College vs. Hampden-Sydney football game on Saturday will be video webcast over the Internet by the ODAC and Penn Atlantic. The contest, set for 1:00 p.m. at Bridgewater’s Jopson Field, is the second broadcast provided by the ODAC this season and will be provided FREE to the viewers.

    Washington and Lee's football game with Averett University scheduled to take place at Salem Stadium on Saturday at 1:00 pm will be videocast for free courtesy of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and Penn Atlantic.
