FOREST, Va. --- Week eight featured the
closest race of the season in the ODAC Football Play of the Week
poll. Washington and Lee University's finalist squeezed out a
narrow win over Guilford College's play to secure the Generals'
second win of the season.
Late in the four quarter, senior linebacker Jeff Schulte
showed good concentration as he broke up a pass and corralled the
juggled ball for an interception. He returned it 40-yards for
a touchdown to cap the game's scoring in W&L's 42-13 win over
Bridgewater. That interception was one of five by the Generals on
the day.
Washington and Lee earned 41.38-percent of the vote to secure the
top spot. In total, the ODAC's four finalists were watched
more than 1,025 times on YouTube over the past two days.
