VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. --- Two competitors are set for the return of the Virginia Beach Neptune Bowl presented by Double Tree by Hilton Virginia Beach. ODAC regular season runner-up Bridgewater College will square off with Apprentice School on Saturday, November 19, at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.

Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. ET with tickets set at $20. Tailgating for the second Neptune Bowl begins at 10:00 a.m. ET with spots on sale for $50 each. No gas grills are permitted in the tailgating area (only charcoal). The tailgating experience features chances to win several contests including best tailgate setup, best food item, and best food spread. The parking lot at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex opens at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Postseason opportunities for football outside of NCAA championship play have grown over the past several years throughout Division III. Saturday's contest marks the second Neptune Bowl for the ODAC's top qualifier and Apprentice School with the COVID-19 pandemic separting this year's showdown with the inaugural event in 2019. Randolph-Macon College represented the ODAC in that first outing with the Yellow Jackets posting a 35-3 victory over the Builders.

Bridgewater (9-1, 6-1 ODAC) will meet Apprentice (8-1, independent) for the 35th time, continuing a series that began in 1949. The Eagles own a 19-15 advantage from their previous meetings and have won six of the past seven matchups.
