Ikwild, a senior from Philomont, Va., led the Tigers with a
game-high 12 tackles. His seven assisted stops were also a
game-high. Ikwild help hold Randolph-Macon's top-rated scoring
offense in the ODAC (43.1 ppg going into the contest) to 28 points
while making key stops to help the Tigers win. Ikwild's play of the
game, however, came in the third quarter when he intercepted an
R-MC pass with H-SC leading 21-14. Ikwild stopped a Yellow
Jackets’ drive with an interception on the Hampden-Sydney
39-yard line. He then returned it 35 yards to the Randolph-Macon
26-yard line. With the field position, the Tigers were able to
punch it into the end zone and make it a two-possession game.
