Pickren, a first-year from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., put together a strong effort is Hampden-Sydney's 43-12 win on the road at Guilford on Friday evening. Pickren registered eight total tackles from his defensive back position including four solo stops. He broke up two passes and came away with his first collegiate interception to setup a Tigers' second half touchdown. Pickren is tied for the team lead with 17 tackles thru three games. Hamden-Sydney is now 3-0 on the season. Its defense allows just 12 points and 163 yards of total offense per game to the opposition.
