DePriest, a senior from Sandston, Va., shed blocks from the interior of Randolph-Macon's defensive line repeatedly in helping lead the Yellow Jackets to a 34-31 victory over Emory & Henry on Saturday. DePriest, who mans one of the defensive tackle spots for R-MC, led the unit with a career-best eight tackles, all solo stops. He got behind the line of scrimmage twice to make tackles that cost E&H six yards of offense. He also forced a fumble that led to one of running back Justin DeLeon's rushing touchdowns for a 21-7 lead midway through the second quarter. For the season, DePriest has registered 24 tackles with 6.0 TFLs and 2.5 quarterback sacks. He has forced two fumbles and recovered one.
