Jones, a senior from Reidsville, N.C., picks up his second ODAC weekly award after leading Ferrum to a 57-35 victory over Guilford in a shootout that saw the teams combine for 898 yards of offense. Jones set a Panthers' single-game record with six touchdown passes as he went 16-of-23 for 239 yards through the air. He is now the single-season record holder in passing touchdowns (20) and passing yards (2,000). He also ran for 89 yards on nine carries with a long run of 33 yards. Jones completed his six TD passes to six different receivers. Those touchdowns covered 11 yards to Kai Bowers, 51 yards to Christian Caldwell, 39 yards to Joe Burris III, 13 yards to Daniel Lamb, 42 yards to Tmahdae Penn, and 19 yards to Nic Cook. For the season, Jones leads the ODAC with 20 touchdown passes, a 164.3 passing efficiency rating, and a 63.4 completion percentage (142-of-224). He has thrown for 2,000 yards, second-best in the league.
