Karissa LeMaire, Lynchburg, So., Defender

LeMaire, a sophomore from Rehoboth, Del., played in major part in both of Lynchburg's non-conference wins last week, keeping the Hornets' undefeated thru four games.  In a 3-2 win over 16th-ranked Christopher Newport, LeMaire scored once and a dished out an assist.  Her contributions came in overtime in a 3-2 triumph over Alvernia later in the week, as she tallied the game-winning goal just 1:34 into the extra frame.  LeMaire's two goals and assist on the week mark her first points of the season.

Field Hockey Honor Roll

Renee Greenslade, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - D)
Greenslade scored once in a 4-2 loss to Frostburg St., dished out an assist in a 4-0 triumph over Hood, and then scored the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Neumann.

Shelbi Holloman, Roanoke (Jr. - A)
Holloman helped Roanoke move to 3-0 on the season with two goals and an assist in a 5-1 victory at Bethany (W.Va.)

Haley Tucker, Washington and Lee (Fr. - A)
Tucker scored both of Washington and Lee's goals -- the first two of her career -- in the Generals' 2-1 win at Washington College.
