Peyton Tysinger, Washington and Lee, Jr., Forward

Tysinger, a junior from Norfolk, Va., helped the nationally 12th-ranked Generals stay atop the ODAC standings with a pair of conference victories last week. In a 2-1 victory at Shenandoah -- which has received votes to the past two NFHCA coaches' polls -- Tysinger provided the assist on the game-winner scored by Maddy Duggleby in the 51st minute. Tysinger was then back on the scoresheet in a 7-2 triumph over Randolph-Macon. She scored twice with an unassisted effort in the 35th minute and then finished off a feed from Kailey Fitzgerald in the 46th minute. Tysinger, who put six shots on goal over the two games, has now racked up 14 points on six goals and two assists on the season. Washington and Lee has now won a program-best 13 straight games as it sits atop the ODAC standings at 6-0 in league play and 13-0 overall. The Generals have won 17 straight home games dating back to October 26, 2019.
