ODAC Athletes of the Week | Golf

FOREST, Va. --- Team records fell and personal bests were set as the ODAC men's and women's golf student-athletes competed in a handful of events through week five of the fall season. That included some strong national fields where conference teams bested some of NCAA Division III's top programs.

That strong play was evident in this week's ODAC Golfers of the Week -- Pierce Robinson and Marcella Mercer from Washington and Lee. Both Generals' programs are ranked inside the top-10 (#8 men, #9 women) in their respective national coaches polls.

Below are entries for both Golfers of the Week. Click on the associated links to see that sport's weekly honor roll. Most weeks this fall, the following schedule will be used for awards reporting:

  • Sundays: football
  • Mondays: field hockey, soccer, volleyball (basketball and swimming when they begin)
  • Tuesdays: cross country (indoor track when it begins)
  • Wednesdays: golf
