HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FLA. - The NCAA Division III Women's Golf Committee deemed the course unplayable on Thursday and canceled round 3 for the entire tournament field. Throughout the course of the day, the committee and officials determined that pin placement was too severe for play and will conclude the tournament as a 54-hole tournament.
The final round for Friday is seeded based on the scores after the completion of round 2 and the Top-15 teams will advance to Friday's tee times in addition to the twelve individuals with the lowest overall scores that are not representatives of an advancing team.
The No. 9 Generals are sitting in 11th place on the team leaderboard and will continue competition in the team standings.
The Generals will work through the third and final round with members of Trinity University (10th place, +64) and Centre College (12th place, +73) and Julia Haetzel will tee off first at 8 a.m. for W&L.
