Mishoe, a senior from Cary, N.C., performed in record-setting fashion to open his spring campaign as the 2019 ODAC Golfer of the Year claimed his third collegiate medal after topping a 90-player national field at The Savannah Invitational hosted by Berry College in Savannah, Ga. Mishoe's 13-under 203 eclipsed the Quakers' 54-hole record of 204 set by former NCAA Division III Player of the Year, Noah Ratner, in 2011. Mishoe posted a 6-under 66 following the opening 18 holes on the par-72 track set to 6,845 yards at the Club at Savannah Harbor. That score tied with two others for low-round of the tournament. Mishoe carded a 5-under 67 in round two, the second set of 18 holes played on Monday. That gave him a 4-stroke lead at 137 -- the second-lowest 36-hole total in Guilford history -- entering the final round. He came in at 2-under 70 to win by one stroke over Jason Folker and Jason Li, both from Carnegie Mellon University. Guilford finished tied for fourth with Methodist with a school-record 14-under 850 (279-286-285) total. For the season, Mishoe leads the ODAC with a 71.1 per-round average over 16 rounds of play. He is rated sixth in NCAA Division III by Golfstat (as of 3/10/20).
