James Mishoe, Guilford, Sr.

Mishoe, a senior from Cary, N.C., captured his fourth collegiate individual medal in leading Guilford to a tie for second place at The Savannah Invitational hosted by Berry College. Mishoe, currently the top-rated golfer in NCAA Division III by Golfstat, earned a one-stroke victory over Cameron Starr from LaGrange University at 13-under 203 following three rounds on the par-72 layout set at 6,845 yards at The Club in Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Ga. Mishoe fired a 7-under 65 in round one, which featured an eagle on hole #11 and seven birdies. He carded a 5-under 67 in round two powered by five birdies, capping the first day of competition at 12-under and six strokes clear of Starr, who matched Mishoe for low-round of the tournament with a 65 in round two. Mishoe, the reigning two-time ODAC Men's Golfer of the Year, sealed his win with a 1-under 71. Guilford tied with Huntingdon College at 3-under 861 (286-287-288), five strokes back of team champion Methodist University.
