Mishoe, a senior from Cary, N.C., earned his fifth career collegiate title over the week by finishing 8-under par to post a four-stroke victory over Ethan Wilkins from Illinois Wesleyan University and Max Schwarz from Emory University at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. Mishoe efforts were part of a strong Guilford performance that saw the nationally top-ranked (by Golfstat) Quakers claim the team title by six strokes over #2 Huntingdon College. Guilford posted round scores of 284-284-297 for a 1-over par 865. Mishoe started his title run with a 2-under 70 following 18 holes on the par-72 layout set to 6,700 yards at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Jekyll Island, Ga. He went one stroke lower in round two with a 3-under 69, leaving him two strokes behind teammate Jack Lee for the lead. Lee would go on to finish tied for fourth at 2-under (214). Mishoe posted five birdies over the final 18 holes on his way to a second 3-under 69 score for a 54-hole total of 208. The two-time ODAC Golfer of the Year is currently the top-rated player in NCAA Division III. He owns an ODAC-best 69.25 scoring average.
