Brubaker fired the two lowest rounds in Hornets history with an opening round of 1-under 71 followed by an even-par 72 on the 5,800-yard track at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Her 1-under 143 is a new Lynchburg 36-hole record, helping Brubaker to a five-stroke victory over Melinda Goda from Concord University. Lynchburg carded a program-record 310 in the first round and followed up with a 312 in round to claim the team title by 43-strokes over Southern Virginia University.
