Kanaby, a junior from Chapel Hill, N.C., keyed a record-breaking tournament for the Generals at the Montgomery Country Club Intercollegiate hosted by Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala. Kanaby tied for 12th overall with Berry College's Teagan Fritts at 2-over par 146, marking a new 36-hole scoring standard for Washington and Lee women's golf. She posted two rounds of 73 on the par-72 layout set to 5,632 yards, finishing eight strokes back of medalist Sriya Mupparaju from Carnegie Mellon University. Kanaby's efforts helped the Generals set two team school-records. W&L shot 300 in both rounds, marking a new single-round team record. The Generals two-round total of 600 also marks a new program benchmark. Kanaby, winner of the 2021 ODAC individual medal, leads the conference with a 73.0 per round average.
