Baker's Dozen of ODAC Stars Qualify for NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Winston-Salem is the destination for a baker's dozen of the ODAC's best track & field stars as the NCAA announced the qualification fields for the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. JDL Fast Track will serve as hosts along with Visit Winston-Salem and the ODAC's own Guilford College for two days of competition on March 11-12.

Conference athletes have had plenty of opportunity to compete at JDL with the facility hosting several events in the region each season. We will see exactly how friendly the confines are with 13 overall competitors from league members heading to North Carolina.

The ODAC's representation list features eight men and five women's standouts. Eastern Mennonite University, University of Lynchburg, and Virginia Wesleyan University will each send two men to JDL. EMU's flag will be carried by sprinter Alijah Johnson and mid-distance runner Isaac Alderfer. Mid-distance runners Tor Hotung-Davidsen and Sam Llaneza don Lynchburg colors, while hurdler Landry Moffo and jumper Geni Roberts sport Marlins logos. Roanoke College hurdler Xavier O'Brien and Washington and Lee University pole vaulter Joe O'Connor round out the men's contingent.

In the women's ranks, Lynchburg sends two athletes to Winston-Salem in distance runner Stephanie Burnett and hurdler and jumper Aniya Seward. Bridewater College sprinter Adalia Coleman, Virginia Wesleyan jumper Jaylyn Lane, and Washington and Lee sprinter Katelyn Gamble complete the conference's representation.
