Alex Shadkhoo, Lynchburg, So., Sprints

Shadkhoo, a sophomore from Herndon, Va., put his national-level speed on display at the VMI Indoor Classic over the weekend. Shadkhoo lowered his ODAC leading time in the 200-meter dash to 22.17-seconds following conversion for conference and NCAA rankings. His on-track time of 21.78-seconds is a new Lynchburg record. His converted time is tied for seventh in NCAA Division III. Shadkhoo also competed in the 4x400-meter relay, which finished 15th at 3:26.28, which converts to 3:29.58 for ODAC and NCAA rankings.
