Douglas, a senior from Lynchburg, Va., opened his season with a Division III-best showing in the long jump at the VMI Keydet Invitational hosted by VMI. Douglas hit the sand 6.85 meters (22-5.75) from the board to win the event my more than a half-foot. It is the second-best indoor long jump distance of his collegiate career.
