Isaac Alderfer, Eastern Mennonite, Jr., Mid-Distance

Alderfer, a junior from Broadway, Va., continued his strong season in the mid-distance events at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Alderfer improved upon his ODAC-best time in the 800-meter run by winning the event in 1:54.76. That time broke his own Eastern Mennonite program record by 0.21-seconds from his final run in 2020 season. That time also improved his position to eighth on the NCAA Division III season chart. Alderfer competed in the 3,000-meter run for the first time in his collegiate career, placing fourth overall and second in Royals history at 8:54.45. That time sits sixth in the ODAC this season.
