Box Score

SALEM, Va. --- Emory & Henry's Lance Reasbeck hit seven three pointers to account for all 21 of his points to lead the ODAC men to victory over their counterparts from the USA South, 108-99, in the second annual ODAC/USA South Senior Men's Basketball Challenge.  The ODAC adds this victory at Roanoke College to its triumph at Averett last season.

Reasbeck hit 5-of-6 shots from the field, all from beyond the arc, to lead the ODAC to a 13-point advantage through the first two 12:00 quarters.  He finished 7-of-12 overall from deep accounting for all of his field goal attempts.  Washington & Lee University's Alex White added 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Guilford College's Thomas Burge hit 3-of-5 from three point territory on the way to 11 markers.

Christopher Newport University's Donta Selden led all scorers with 23 points to go with eight assists and six rebounds.  Shenandoah University's Mouktar Fawehinmi chipped in 12 points and eight boards, and CNU's Korey Lewis added 11 points and another eight rebounds.  Greensboro College's James Newman registered 10 points.

Following a pair of solid quarters in the first half, the pace slowed in the third frame.  The USA South made a strong run at the outset of the period, pulling to within three at 63-60, but the ODAC regained its composure near the midway point.  The USA South managed to pull two points closer after 36 minutes of play, but still trailed 76-65 going into the fourth quarter.

The two squads combined for 66 points in the final 12 minutes of play as the USA South tried to work its way back into the contest.  Selden led a strong USA South push, but the ODAC continued to shoot well from the outside, hitting 6-of-12 shots in the quarter to keep the USA South at bay.
