J.D. Ey, Washington and Lee, Sr., Forward

Ey, a senior from Charlotte, N.C., helped the Generals to a 2-0 week and secure the eighth seed in the ODAC men's basketball tournament. He recorded two double-doubles and scored the 1,00th point of his career. For the week, he totaled 33 points (16.5 ppg), 23 rebounds (11.5 rpg.), five assists (2.5 apg.), five steals (2.5 spg.) and three blocks (1.5 bpg.). He scored his 1,000th career point in the second half against Shenandoah on Saturday. He finished the game with 23 points, including 19 in the second half, and dropped in the game-winning basket with 14 seconds left after stealing the Hornets inbounds' pass. He is the only player in W&L history with at least 1,000 career points, 800 rebounds, 200 assists, 150 blocks and 100 steals. He leads the ODAC in rebounds per game (9.6) and blocks per game (2.2).
