Schroeder, a sophomore from Blacksburg, Va., picks up his second weekly award of the season after leading Lynchburg to a pair of conference victories. Schroeder poured in 29 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the field that included 7-of-8 from beyond the arc in a 95-72 win over Randolph. He chipped in three boards and a steal while hitting both of his foul shots. In a 78-72 win over Randolph-Macon, Schroeder hit three more from deep as part of a 7-for-13 shooting day on the way to 17 points. He added eight rebounds and a steal. For the season, Schroeder is seventh in the ODAC in points scored (342) and scoring average (15.5). He is third in three-pointers made (56), sixth in rebounding (7.3 rpg) and seventh in field goals made (128).

Men's Basketball Weekly Notes

- Eastern Mennonite guard RaShawn Latimer scored 21 points on 8-of-13 from the feild that included a trio of three-pointers in the Royals 94-63 triumph over Randolph.

- Emory & Henry guard Colin Molden helped Emory & Henry entrenched itself into third in the ODAC standings with wins over Washingotn and Lee (75-59) and Bridgewater (86-60). Molden scored 17 points with three boards and three steals against W&L, and followed with 10 points, four assists, and two steals versus BC.

- Guilford forward Alston Thompson registered 14 points with eight boards i na 72-46 setback at Roanoke. He followed with 13 points and 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double in a 67-53 triumph over Randolph-Macon.

- Randolph-Macon forward Michael Taylor made four three-pointers in both games last week, finishing with 19 points and four assists in an 80-73 win over Shenandoah. He followed with 18 points and three boards in a 67-53 loss at Guilford. He was 13-of-24 (.542) from the field for the week.

- Roanoke guard John Fitchett made six of the Maroons' school-record 18 three-pointers in on the way to 24 points in a 72-46 win over then #1 regionally-ranked Guilford. He added five rebounds and four assists.

- Shenandoah guard Malcolm Clark was 11-of-16 from the field including a trio from deep towards 31 points with seven boards in an 80-73 loss at Randolph-Macon. He followed with a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebouinds with three assists in a 69-64 win over Hampden-Sydney, giving SU its best conference record (5-9) since joining the ODAC.

- Virginia guard Khory Moore registered 16 points and five rebounds in a 76-69 loss at Hampden-Sydney. He followed with 28 points and eight rebounds in a 78-72 setback at Lynchburg. He was 9-of-12 from the foul line in the latter contest.

- Washington and Lee forward Clayton Murtha registered 13 points and five rebounds in a 75-59 setback at Emory & Henry. He followed with a double-double in a 97-83 win over Roanoke, going 12-of-14 from the field and 5-of-7 from the line for 29 points to go with 12 boards.
