Shelor, a senior from Giles, Va., put together a pair of strong outings in helping the nationally 21st-ranked Wasps to a pair of conference victories. Emory & Henry, which debuted in the D3hoops.com poll for the first time in program history last week, is now 18-1 overall and 10-0 in the ODAC, marking the first time E&H has been 10-0 in league play since 1992-93. The Wasps have also won eight straight games. Shelor opened his week with 21 points on 9-of-17 from the field in an 85-74 road win at Randolph. He added four rebounds, four assists, and a steal while also hitting both of his foul shots. Shelor's three-point prowess was on display in a 90-73 victory over Bridgewater as he canned 6-of-9 shots from deep on the way to 24 points. He was 8-of-15 overall from the field again was 2-for-2 from the line, adding in three rebounds, two assists, and two steals to his line. For the season, Shelor is ninth in the ODAC in scoring at 15.4 points per game. He is third in minutes played (603) and minutes played per game (31.7), fifth in free throw percentage (.844; 38-of-45), sixth in field goals made (107), and eighth in three-pointers made (41) and three-point shooting (.427; 41-of-96).

Bridgewater split games continued for a fourth week for the Eagles with a win at Shenandoah (68-65) and a loss at #21 Emory & Henry. Dimetri Chambers posted a pair of strong games with 19 points and five rebounds to help the Eagles erase a 19-point deficit at Shenandoah. He followed with 23 points, three boards, and three assists at E&H. He hit six three-pointers for the week, including four at SU.

Eastern Mennonite went 1-1 in ODAC play for a third straight week, picking up an overtime win at Randolph-Macon (70-69) and a loss against Roanoke (73-65). The win at R-MC is the first for EMU in head coach Kirby Dean's 15 seasons. Maleke Jones filled up the stat sheets in both games, opening with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a blocked shot at R-MC. He canned 3-of-6 from deep and was 5-of-10 from the field. Against RC, he went for 15 points on 5-of-9 from the field, all coming from downtown. He added four boards and three assists.

Guilford has now won four straight and six of its last seven after posting victories over Lynchburg (80-70) and at Washington and Lee (81-70). Carson Long racked up a pair of double-doubles to bring his season total to six. He opened with 18 points and 10 boards against LC. He was 8-of-14 from the field. He shot well again at W&L, going 6-for-11 with a pair of three-pointers on the way to 16 points with 12 rebounds and two assists.

Hampden-Sydney lost at Virginia Wesleyan (69-63), but then snapped its nine-game skid with a victory over Shenandoah (67-65). Malik Crute came thru in the clutch for the Tigers. His jumper with two-seconds to play sealed the win against SU. He finished with 16 points on 6-of-9 from the field off the bench. He added four rebounds and two assists. At VWU, he notched 10 points with four boards, three assists, and two blocked shots.

Lynchburg dropped a pair of conference games with loss at Guilford (80-70) and versus Virginia Wesleyan (78-63). Logan Seacris came off the bench two score 36 points combined over the two outings. He opened with 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists at GC. He added 17 points with three boards and a helper against VWU.

Randolph saw its skid reach four games with losses to #21 Emory & Henry (85-74) and at Randolph-Macon (68-47). Ryan Fields posted his fourth double-double against E&H with 28 points and 12 rebounds. He was 11-of-22 from the field, adding a pair of assists and two steals to his line. He again led the WildCats with 11 points and six boards at R-MC.

Randolph-Macon lost in overtime to Eastern Mennonite (70-69) before returning to the win column against Randolph (68-47). Daniel Noe put forth a pair of solid outings, beginning with 13 points, seven assists, and three rebounds against EMU. He notched 10 points against Randolph while pulling down three more boards with two assists and two steals.

Roanoke has now won three straight and four of its past five games with a pair of road wins at Washignton and Lee (90-54) and at Eastern Mennonite (73-65). The 36-point margin of victory over W&L marks the Maroons' season-high and is the third-highest in the league this year. Josh Freund added one and nearly a second double-double, leaving him with seven. He opened with 10 points and nine boards to go with three assists and a steal at W&L. He then went for 21 points and 10 boards at EMU. He was 10-of-17 from the field in that contest and 14-of-22 for the week.

Shenandoah dropped a pair of conference games by only five combined points to Bridgewater (68-65) and at Hampden-Sydney (67-65). Christopher Chaney picked up his fourth double-double against BC with 11 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. He added two steals to his line. He posted a game-high 17 points at H-SC, pulling down nine boards including five via the offensive glass.

Virginia Wesleyan snapped its mini three-game skid with wins over Hampden-Sydney (69-63) and at Lynchburg (78-63). Keijon Honore opened his week with 17 points on 4-of-5 from three-point range and 5-of-6 from the stripe against H-SC. He added three boards and two assists. He again went for 17 points at LC, this time burying 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. He chipped in two rebounds and a pair of assists.

Washington and Lee dropped a pair of outings to Roanoke (90-54) and Guilford (81-70). Clayton Murtha registered his ninth double-double against RC, tying him with Emory & Henry's Alic Wynn for the league lead. Murtha had 14 points and 10 rebounds against the Maroons, adding in a pair of assists. He went for 15 points and eight boards with four assists against GC.
