  • Lynchburg NCAA Second Round Contest to Western New England

    The No. 11-ranked University of Lynchburg men's lacrosse team fell in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament Saturday afternoon, dropping a 14-10 decision to Western New England on Union College's Bailey Field.

    The 12th-ranked Cabrini men's lacrosse team scored seven of the last nine goals to pull away for a 14-8 win over Washington and Lee in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday at Salisbury University.
  • ODAC Announces 2022 All-ODAC Men's Lacrosse Awards

    Two-time reigning ODAC champion University of Lynchburg has collected 24 all-conference team honors over the past two years as the Hornets headline the 2022 All-ODAC Awards with 11 honorees plus one additional special individual honor. Washington and Lee University received nine all-league laurels plus one special recognition, and Hampden-Sydney College took home eight team designations in addition to a pair of special awards. Roanoke College also earned eight selections to an all-conference team. Tigers midfielder Sean Duffy earned ODAC Player of the Year plaudits from the league's head coaches. Lynchburg mentor Steve Koudelka picked up ODAC Coach of the Year distinction. H-SC long-stick and face-off hybrid Conor Kilfeather garnered ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades. Generals goalkeeper Nick Spagnoletti was tabbed the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the conference's athletic communications personnel.

    Not one...not two...but THREE teams will carry the ODAC banner into the Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday evening. ODAC champion University of Lynchburg, owners of the conference's automatic entry to the field, will be joined by at-large selections Roanoke College and Washington and Lee University.

  • Washington and Lee Tops ODAC Men's Lacrosse Bracket

    It's a handful of top seeds for Washington and Lee University as the Generals own #1 billing in the ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament for the fifth straight season. League teams played in four conference games on Saturday to close the regular season. For the first time in recent memory, there were zero ties in the final standings with the days results leaving the conference table clean through the top-seven seens. The University of Lynchburg, seeded second in the seven-team field, joins W&L with a bye into the semifinal round. Washington and Lee will serve as host of the ODAC semifinals and championship next weekend.

  • Reigning Champs Lynchburg Top ODAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll

    The start of ODAC spring sports is on the horizon with the 2022 ODAC Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll kicking off this season's coverage. Reigning champion University of Lynchburg tops the annual chart with an even 100 points powered by 10 first place votes. Washington and Lee University, runner-up to Lynchburg last year and winner of the 2019 title, sits in second position with 91 markers including the remaining first place nod. Hampden-Sydney College ranks third with 81 tallies, while Roanoke College slots fourth with 70 points. Randolph-Macon College and Bridgewater College are tight for fifth with the Yellow Jackets collecting 62 points to the Eagles' 59 markers.

Conference student-athlete distinction and influence extends well beyond their athletic arenas with several taking home Academic All-America recognition from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
