Hoff, a senior from Chester Springs, Pa., scored eight goals and tallied seven assists last week in a pair of Hornets' victories. In the process, he broke the school record for career points and is now first in the Lynchburg record books with 265 total points. Hoff also snagged three ground balls and caused a turnover in the week. In a 16-6 win over CNU, Hoff poured in five goals and dished out four assists. He followed that up with three goals and three more helpers in a 18-4 win over Guilford. Hoff leads the ODAC in goals (42) and points (65).
Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Chris Ashcraft, Guilford, Senior, Attack
Ashcraft scored four goals and an assist for a team-high
five points in Guilford’s 0-2 week… posted a team-high
four points with three goals and an assist in the Quakers’
overtime loss to Greensboro… netted the game-tying goal with
just over four minutes left in regulation… also scored in
the Quakers’ road setback to third-ranked Lynchburg.
Carter Mavromatis, Hampden-Sydney, Senior, Midfielder
Mavromatis posted four goals and five assists on the
week as he continued to pile on assists to his school record total
currently standing at 99. He only needs six more assists to rank
top-five in ODAC history. He had two goals, three assists, three
ground balls, and one caused turnover against Virginia Wesleyan in
an 8-7 win. Against Ferrum, he contributed two goals, two assists,
and one groundball as he only played in the first half.
Reid Mayberry, Roanoke, Senior, Attack
Mayberry scored a career high seven goals in the
Maroons game against Randolph-Macon, which was played on Senior Day
during Roanoke's Alumni Weekend. He also led the team in
groundballs with seven for the game.
