Lachlan, a senior from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, notched 11 points in helped the Maroons two three victories, including two ODAC contests and one against fourth-ranked Stevenson. Against the Mustangs, Lachlan beat the keeper four times and assisted on another tally in RC's 14-13 triumph. He came back with three goals and another helper in a 22-3 conference win over Bridgewater. Over the weekend, Lachlan found the back of the net on two straight goals, including the game-tying score with 2:29 to play, as the Maroons' recovered from a four-goal deficit in the fourth quarter with five unanswered goals to defeat Hampden-Sydney, 12-11. For the season, Lachlan leads the ODAC with 39 goals scored towards 48 total points, which ranks third in the league.
Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Derrick Daniels, Bridgewater (Va.) -
(Fr, Midfield - Bear, Del. , 18)
Daniels tallied a goal in each game and dished out three assists
to help lead the Eagles to a 1-1 week. Daniels registered a goal
and assisted on another as the Eagles fell in conference action to
nationally-ranked Roanoke, 22-3. On Saturday, the Eagles ended
their losing streak with a 16-1 win over Bethany (W. Va.) Daniels
again got back on the scoreboard and assisted on two other goals in
the win.
Adam Fiore, Guilford - (Fr, A - Ithaca,
N.Y., 47)
Fiore paced the Quakers with 10 points on six goals and four
assists in the team's 1-1 week. He notched a career- and
game-high seven points with three goals and four assists in the
Quakers' road win over Randolph. He tallied a team-best three
goals in a 10-8 setback at Randolph-Macon. The outing marked
his team-leading sixth multi-goal game of the season.
Max Voumard, Lynchburg - (Sr, Midfielder
- Cape May, NJ, 29)
Voumard scored five times and dished out an assist in the Hornets
2-0 week. He scored twice, including the first of the game,
and assisted on an additional goal in a 16-6 win over
Randolph-Macon. Over the weekend, Voumard netted his fifth
hat-trick of the season and picked up four groundballs in a 20-10
triumph versus Virginia Wesleyan.
Jason Andrews, Randolph-Macon - (Jr, M -
Hereford, MD / Hereford, 20)
Andrews was involved in seven of Randolph-Macon's 10 goals against
Guilford on Saturday. The junior assisted on the Yellow Jackets
first score and then rattled off three straight to give R-MC a 4-0
first quarter advantage. Andrews tallied two goals in the fourth
quarter to seal the game for Randolph-Macon's 10-8 victory over the
Quakers. He also scored a goal in a 16-6 loss to Lynchburg
earlier in the week. Andrews ranks second in the conference
with 36 goals and leads the league with 58 total points.
Joe Wood, Washington and Lee - (Jr, M -
Bronxville, N.Y., 15)
Wood helped lead the Generals to a 27-6 victory over Randolph on
Saturday by totaling a career-high five goals and one ground ball.
For the season, the junior midfielder now has 25 points on 19 goals
and six assists. He leads the team with nine man-up goals.
