A.J. Witherell, Washington and Lee, Jr., Attackman

Witherell, a junior from Wilmington, Del., was both effective and efficient in registering seven points in the nationally 13th-ranked Generals 18-5 victory at Bridgewater. Witherell scored six goals and dished out one assist towards Washington and Lee's scoring effort. He needed just seven shots to do it as he put six of his seven shots on goal. He also picked up three ground balls and caused a turnover. Witherell is currently tied for the ODAC lead with Ian Levin from Hampden-Sydney at 61 points. He has scored 38 goals and dished out 23 assists, both of which rank third in the league. Witherell now has 204 points for his career, making him just the seventh player in program history to top 200 career points. His 123 goals rank fifth all-time at W&L.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Aswan Bland, GC: scored five goals and caused a turnover in the Quakers 22-6 win over Randolph. The 22 goals mark the Quakers highest output since 2015.

Evan Lombardo, LC: scored six times and dished out an assist in the Hornets 28-8 win at Virginia Wesleyan. The win marked his sixth five-plus goal game of the season.

Garritt Schwarz, RC: beat the keeper five times and dished out a pair of assists in the Maroons 20-8 win over Randolph-Macon. Also picked up four ground balls and caused a turnovers.
