Brummett, a senior from Glen Rock, Pa., continues to live up to his All-America status from Inside Lacrosse last season as the Hampden-Sydney face-off man won 29-of-33 (.879) of his showdowns in the circle last week. Brummett was 16-of-20 on face-offs in the Tigers' 18-7 win in the rain at St. Mary's College (Md.). He picked up 11 ground balls and registered a caused turnover. Last year's leader in face-offs won (95) was perfect in H-SC's 18-6 win over Ferrum. He went 13-of-13 against the Panthers, again picking up 11 ground balls. For the season, Brummett is first in the ODAC in ground balls (87) and second in face-offs won (122-of-184 - .663).
