Luca Docking, Roanoke, So., Attack

Docking, a sophomore from Chevy Chase, Md., led Roanoke to a pair of ODAC victories to keep the Maroons in the hunt for the top spot in the ODAC standings. Docking registered 16 total points in Roanoke's home wins over Bridgewater and Randolph-Macon. Against the Eagles, he had a hand in eight of the Maroons 19 goals with five goals and three assists towards a 19-14 victory. He scored three times in the first half and contributed an assist and a goal on RC's first two goals third period to break open the game at 14-9, the Maroons largest edge of the contest. Docking also picked up three ground balls. He collected just as many loose balls and caused a turnover in Roanoke's come-from-behind 18-14 win over Randolph-Macon. Docking scored three of his game-high six goals in the fourth quarter to help the Maroons erase a 13-10 deficit entering the final frame. He added two assists to post eight points for the second straight game. Docking is now fifth in the ODAC with 20 assists go go along with 23 goals for 43 total points, the 10th-best total in the conference.
