  • W&L's Bayles and Singleton Lead ODAC Men's Soccer Awards

    Washington and Lee took home a pair of special honors in leading the 2015 ODAC Men's Soccer awards, as midfielder Ben Bayles and head coach Mike Singleton earned ODAC Player of the Year and ODAC Coach of the Year laurels. Virginia Wesleyan forward Ricky Perrault was tabbed the ODAC Rookie of the Year, while Hampden-Sydney forward Robert Kerby picked up the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Award.
  • Generals Cruise Past Methodist into NCAA Second Round

    The 23rd-ranked Washington and Lee men's soccer team scored three second-half goals en route to posting a 3-0 triumph over Methodist on Thursday afternoon at Watt Field in the first-round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament.
  • Washington and Lee to Host NCAA Men's Soccer First Round

    We knew Washington and Lee University would be representing the ODAC in the NCAA Division III Tournaments, but the Generals were informed of an added bonus on Monday. While it did not receive one of three first round byes in the 61-team field, those three off dates did afford the Generals an opportunity to host in the first round.
  • Washington and Lee Captures ODAC Men's Soccer Title

    The top-seeded Washington and Lee men's soccer team scored four straight goals en route to claiming the 2015 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship with a 5-2 victory over second-seeded Randolph on Sunday at Watt Field.

  • Eight-Team Field for ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament Set

    Washington and Lee University surrendered just two points in the standings and went unbeaten thru its ODAC schedule as the Generals secured the number one seed in the upcoming ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament. This is the first time W&L will be looking down at the rest of the eight-team field since the 2001 season. The Generals are in search of their fourth ODAC title and first since the 2000 campaign.

  • Maroons Tabbed as Favorites in ODAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll

    Roanoke College received seven first place votes on the way to 116 total points to lead the 2015 ODAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll. Just two points separate the Maroons from second place Lynchburg College, where the defending champions picked up four votes towards the top position. Virginia Wesleyan College rounds out the top three with 94 tallies. Hampden-Sydney College, in sixth position, garnered the remaining first place vote.
