    Roanoke College goalkeeper Zach Behe is the first but certainly will not be the last ODAC student-athlete to be recognized nationally for their accomplishments in and out of their respective athletic arenas as the Maroons' men's soccer player garnered First Team Academic All-American laurels from the College Sports Information Directors of the America (CoSIDA) earlier this week.

    Sophomore forward Adrian Zimmerman (San Diego, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) scored four goals to highlight a strong offensive team output, as the top-ranked Washington and Lee men's soccer team defeated Baruch, 6-1, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.
  • Randolph's Blow Repeats as POY to Highlight the All-ODAC Men's Soccer Awards

    Conference champion University of Lynchburg and nationally top-ranked Washington and Lee University each collected eight all-conference laurels and a pair of individual special honors to headline the 2021 All-ODAC Men's Soccer Awards. Randolph College forward Evan Blow earned ODAC Player of the Year recognition for the second straight season. Lynchburg's Chris Yeager and W&L's Mike Singleton shared ODAC Coach of the Year plaudits. Generals midfielder Weyimi Agbeyegbe received ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades, and Lynchburg centerback Nick Foley won his second straight ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year award from the league's athletic communications personnel.
  • Washington and Lee Joins Lynchburg in the NCAA Men's Soccer Bracket

    The NCAA men's soccer tournament is back! Fans would have to turn back the clock to November 2019 for the last time an ODAC team had the chance to play for a national men's soccer championship. The NCAA put an end to the event's hiatus with the announcement of the 2021 Division III field on Monday afternoon. Two teams will carry the ODAC's banner into the bracket. Conference champion University of Lynchburg is joined by Washington and Lee University in the 64-team field.
  • Lynchburg Captures ODAC Men's Soccer Championship in Extra Time

    Tournament MOP Luke Mega converted a penalty kick in the 102nd minute to give the University of Lynchburg 1-0 victory in extra-time over Randolph College in a clash of cross-town rivals at Lynchburg's Shellenberger Field. The win clinched an ODAC-record 18th league crown for the Hornets, and they also earn the ODAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament. The selection show for that field will be at 1:30 p.m. ET on NCAA.com on Monday, November 8.

    Men's soccer is back in its traditional fall season for the 2021-22 campaign following the first spring slate in conference history a few months ago. Washington and Lee University enters the year standing atop the league ranks as the Generals headline the 2021-22 ODAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll. Washington and Lee secured seven first place votes on the way to a chart-topping 116 points. Defending champion University of Lynchburg sits just five tallies back in second with its 111-point haul featuring three top nods. Roanoke College chimes in third with 98 markers and one first place consideration, while Hampden-Sydney College garnered the remaining first place vote on the way to 95 total points.
