BRYAN WHARTON, Hampden-Sydney College, Sophomore - Midfielder

Wharton, a sophomore from Glen Allen, Virginia, scored four goals against the Maroons to help lift the Tigers into the #2 seed for the ODAC tournament. The four goals lifted his season total to 14, which was tied for the most goals in the regular season in the ODAC.  

Men's Soccer Honor Roll

Dillon Brunk, Eastern Mennonite University, Sophomore - Goalkeeper
Brunk kept Eastern Mennonite in both of their contests this past week, despite the pair of 1-0 losses. He made a number of spectacular saves in each game, especially in the quarterfinal match with fourth-seeded Roanoke. The only goals he allowed were on a breakaway and on a penalty kick. Brunk had nine saves for the week as EMU was outshot 33-13.

Jordan Alexander, Guilford College, Sophomore - Midfielder
Alexander topped the Quakers with three points in a 1-1 week… scored all three points, a season high, in Guilford’s 3-1 road win over Emory & Henry that clinched the Quakers’ ODAC Tournament berth… scored a goal and an assist in the match for his highest scoring output of the season.

Brandon Massie, Virginia Wesleyan College, Senior - Forward
Massie helped guide VWC to 2-0 week in Old Dominion Athletic Conference competition by adding two goals and two assists to his totals. He now has 56 career goals, a record total in VWC and ODAC history. He also increased his career assist total to 11, a career-high for a season, with two assists in the recent ODAC tournament win over Guilford.

James Pymm, Washington and Lee University, Junior - Midfielder
Pymm recorded two goals in the Generals’ regular-season finale against Bridgewater, winning 2-1 in double-OT. He recorded his first goal in the 41st minute to tie the game going into halftime and eventually sending it to extra minutes. He recorded the game-winning goal in the second overtime, connecting on a penalty kick in the 103rd minute.
