Ben Grossfuss, Lynchburg, Sr., Forward

Grossfuss, a senior from Sanford, N.C., helped the Hornets to a 2-0 week that featured wins over a pair of conference teams. Grossfuss opened the week with both of Lynchburg's goals in a 2-1 win at Eastern Mennonite. He scored the game's first goal in the 57th minute, only to see EMU level the game less than two minutes later. Grossfuss struck for a second time in dramatic fashion as he tallied the game-winner just nine-seconds before the end of the first overtime period. He went on to contribute to LC's second ODAC win of the week, a 2-1 decision at Randolph-Macon, helping the Hornets improve to 9-0-2 overall and 3-0 in league play. Grossfuss leads the Hornets and sits 10th in the ODAC with 12 points. His six goals scored are sixth in the conference.
