Mega, a first-year from Glen Allen, Va., picked the perfect time for his first career multi-goal game as the Hornets posted a 1-1 record against a pair of ranked opponents last week. Following a 2-0 loss to nationally 20th-ranked Mary Washington during the midweek, Mega put Lynchburg on the right foot against third-ranked Oglethorpe with a 20th minute unassisted tally for a 1-0 lead. He then doubled the Hornets margin with a second tally, this time off a dish from Abibi Osman in the 81st minute. Oglethorpe got one back late-on, but Mega's two tallies left Lynchburg with a 2-1 triumph. Mega is currently tied for fifth in the ODAC with three goals scored.
