Franco, a first-year from Culpeper, Va., was both prolific and clutch in posting a five-goal week over two victories for Bridgewater, the club's first wins of the season. Franco not only opened his collegiate account against Southern Virginia on Tuesday, but he tripled the profits with his first hat trick in a 7-0 offensive explosion against the Knights. Each of his tallies came in the second half, building upon BC's 1-0 halftime edge with the squad's second, third, and fifth goals inside of nine minutes of each other. Franco again found himself on the scoresheet multiple times with both goals in a 2-1 victory over York College (Pa.). He needed just 3:37 of game time to turn Simon Brun's pass into an assist for the first goal. He then posted an unassisted goal for a 2-0 lead in the 35th minute to provide the margin necessary to withstand the Spartans' late score in the 80th minute.
