Hawkins, a sophomore from Silver Spring, Md., was outstanding from his number one ladder position in singles action, going 4-0 on the week. Hawkins opened the week with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Randolph’s Sam Churchill before posting a 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) win over 2010 ODAC second teamer Jon Roy. On Saturday, Hawkins claimed a 7-5, 6-2 win against Arvin Wong of St. Mary’s (Md.) before knocking off 2010 ODAC second teamer Chip Wintringham by a 6-3, 6-4 tally to wrap up the week on Sunday. Hawkins also went 3-1 in doubles play with teammate Brent Floyd. Hawkins is currently riding a team-best six match singles winning streak.

Mercier went 4-0 in Guilford’s 1-1 week…earned a
three-set victory over Averett University’s Kirill Orlov in
Guilford’s only singles win of the match… won a
two-set decision over Lynchburg College’s Brandon
Brown…alongside Clayton Hamilton, went 2-0 in doubles action
earning 8-3 wins over the top pairs from Averett and Lynchburg.

Doubles
Pack went 6-0 on the week in three matches, surrendering
just two games total in all six matches. Playing at #5 singles, he
posted clean 6-0, 6-0 wins against Randolph-Macon and Lynchburg
College and won 6-1, 6-0 against Emory & Henry. At #3 doubles
teaming with Ian Sammler, Pack went 8-1 against R-MC and posted 8-0
wins against Lynchburg and E&H. Pack is currently 8-2 in
singles play and 8-3 in doubles.
