Byrd, a senior from Toano, Va., helped the Yellow Jackets to a pair of 9-0 victories against league foes last week.  Byrd won 6-0, 6-1, at #1 singles against Hampden-Sydney, and followed that with a 6-4, 6-4, top flight victory over Randolph.  He and Ira Usry went 2-0 at #1 doubles, picking up 8-5 and 8-6 wins, respectively.

Brandon Larsen, Bridgewater (Sr. - Woodbridge, Va.)
Larsen helped BC to a 2-0 week by winning 6-0, 6-0, at #1 singles against Shenandoah and 6-3, 6-1, from the same flight versus Emory & Henry.  He and Thomas Rishcoff won 8-3 at #2 doubles against SU, and posted a second 8-3 triumph over E&H, this one coming from the third doubles flight.
