Bradley Strober, Randolph, So., #1 Singles, #1 Doubles

Strober, a sophomore from Stockton, N.J., helped the WildCats to a 1-1 week that included the WildCats' first team victory over Randolph-Macon in program history. Strober won 6-2, 6-2 at #1 singles and teamed with Doug Corbett for a 9-7 win at #1 doubles, registering two points in Randolph's 5-4 win over R-MC. Strober added a 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5) win at #1 singles in an 8-1 setback to Guilford. He and Corbett fell 8-4 in doubles play.

Men's Tennis Honor Roll

Mesa Martorell, Guilford (So. - 2/3)
Martorell helped Guilford to an 8-1 win over Randolph as he won 6-4, 6-3 at #2 singles and then partnered with Levi Bruff to win 8-1 at #3 doubles.

Alex Curnow, Randolph-Macon (Jr. - 5/2)
Curnow went 3-1 at #5 singles and #2 doubles in the Yellow Jackets' 1-1 week. He won 7-5, 6-3 in singles play against Randolph, but he and partner Tom Lewis fell 9-7 in doubles action.  The duo made amends with an 8-2 win over Emory & Henry later.  Curnow posted a 6-1, 6-0 singles victory to help RMC to a 9-0 team win.

Adam Rosemblaum, Virginia Wesleyan (So. - 3/1)
Rosemblaum went 4-0 at #3 singles and #1 doubles last week.  He posted singles wins of 6-0, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-0 agaisnt Emory & Henry and Roanoke, respectively.  He and Graham Wilson won 8-4 twice in doubles play, helping VWC to 5-0 and 9-0 team victories.
