  • Taylor, Webb Academic All-Americans

    Washington and Lee seniors Becca Taylor and Elizabeth Webb have been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine College Division Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Team as selected by CoSIDA. Both Taylor and Webb were tabbed to the third team.

    Lynchburg's Ricky Flynn and Roanoke's Robin Yerkes took home the ODAC Men and Women’s Track Athlete of the Year awards in an annual selection of the league’s coaches.
  • Track Earns 10 All-American Honors

    Several of the ODAC’s top men’s and women’s outdoor track athletes competed at the 2009 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at Marietta College (Ohio) over the weekend. The performance of the league’s contingent was strong to say the least with 10 combined All-American honors.
  • WLU's Webb Awarded NCAA Scholarship

    Washington and Lee cross country and track & field athlete Elizabeth Webb has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships. The award is a $7,500 scholarship for academic work beyond the baccalaureate degree as a full-time or part-time graduate student.
  • Lynchburg, Roanoke Win ODAC Track Titles

    Six championship records and three ODAC overall marks fell at the 2009 ODAC Track and Field Championships as the Lynchburg men and the Roanoke women stood atop the podium at day’s end. The Hornets steered clear of Bridgewater by 100 points and the Maroons out-paced Washington and Lee for its sixth women’s title.
  • ODAC Teams Ready for Track Champs

    The 2009 Men’s and Women’s ODAC Track and Field Championship Meet will be hosted by Washington and Lee on April 17-18 in Lexington, Virginia. Field events begin on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the first track events taking place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday’s schedule kicks off at 10:00 a.m.
  • McGuffin Steps Down as EMU Track & Field Head Coach

    Following 10 years of service at EMU, Seth McGuffin has resigned his positions as Head Track and Field Coach, citing personal reasons. During his time at EMU, Seth has served as assistant track and field coach, Sports Information Director, Fitness Center Coordinator, Strength and Conditioning Consultant and did numerous things without an official title.
