Bridgewater College national indoor athlete of the year Amber Celen will be the busiest ODAC competitor in Ohio as she will compete in three events including the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and the long jump. She is currently ranked #1 in the country in the shorter sprint, having bested her own previously set 2017 record (11.66s). She is within striking distance of both the 200m and long jump records as well. Teammate Katelyn Senger competes in the discus on Thursday. She reset the ODAC record a couple of times during the season and is currently slotted 13th (46.04m) in the event.

Eastern Mennonite University sent a pair of men's competitors to the Heartland in Connor Faint and Grant Amoateng. Faint has his eyes set on challenging the ODAC 400-meter hurdles record as he enters ranked fifth in the field (52.33s). Amoateng will try his hand at the triple jump. His season-best 14.66m mark is ranked 14th in a field of 20 competitors.

Lynchburg College will also send a pair of standouts to Geneva. Evan Truman set the ODAC record in the long jump in 2015 (7.67m) and looks to end his stellar career with one final shot at eclipsing that mark. He enters the event ranked 17th (7.30m). Natalie Deacon may be a senior on paper, but this is the first season on the track for the ODAC Rookie of the Year. She will be joined by Virginia Wesleyan University junior standout Marissa Coombs in the 1,500-meter run. Deacon ranks fourth on the event chart at 4:29.88, while Coombs is less than four-seconds back at 13th position at 4:33.15.

Randolph College and Washington and Lee University will be represented by one competitor each in the men's events. Anthony Quinn carries the WildCats' banner at the national event. He is slotted 18th in the 110-meter hurdles heat sheet with a time of 14.53, which is just 0.23-seconds off the ODAC record. Wearing Generals' blue and while will be Mac Strehler. He takes to the grueling 10,000-meter run, an event in which he enters in 12th position. His best time of 30:19.60 is within striking distance of the ODAC record (30:03.39).
