GENEVA, Ohio --- Bridgewater junior Amber Celen registered her third career event victory and took home three All-American awards to lead a strong showing from the ODAC's contingent of nine competing athletes at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships. The SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, served as the host venue with conference stars turning in nine total All-American performances from May 25-27.

Celen's efforts along with those of teammate Katelyn Senger added a little extra celebration for the Eagles' faithful. The duo racked up 29 total points to finish fifth in the team standings, the highest ranking for a Bridgewater women's track & field squad in school history.

Three ODAC records fell over the weekend with Celen responsible for two of those standards. In the 100-meter dash, officials had to go to the camera to determine the national champion. Celen was shown to clip the tape just ahead of Oniesha Clarke of Misericordia with a new conference record-time of 11.63 seconds. That reset her own mark of 11.66 seconds, which she established earlier this season.

Celen was back on the record hunt in the 200-meter dash as she stopped the watches second overall in 23.87 seconds. That time eclipsed the previous mark of 24.17 seconds set by former Roanoke College All-American Robin Yerkes. Celen picked up her third All-American award in the long jump as her first leap of 5.81 meters (19' 0.75") proved her best and finished third overall.

Senger put the caps on her stellar throwing career at BC with an All-American showing in the discus. She came up a meter short of her own ODAC record, but her toss of 45.04 meters (147' 9.00") had her well within the top-eight for AA consideration in fourth position.

The remaining ODAC record-setting performance belongs to Virignia Wesleyan's Marissa Coombs. The Marlins' junior, competing alongside Lynchburg College senior and ODAC Rookie of the Year Natalie Deacon, snapped the old stadium record of 4:26.24 with a new conference-record time of 4:25.29 to finish as the national runner-up and earn All-American honors. Deacon crossed the line not too far behind Coombs as she nabbed her own All-America laurel with a seventh-place time of 4:30.90.

On the men's side, a trio of seniors capped their careers with All-American honors. Eastern Mennonite standout Connor Faint earned his first AA award in the 400-meter hurdles. He chimed in eighth overall with a time of 52.98 seconds. Lynchburg multi-event athlete Evan Truman collected his All-American accolade in the long jump. He hit the sand at 7.10 meters (23' 3.50") on his third jump of the competition to finish fifth overall. Randolph senior Anthony Quinn took to the shorter hurdles event to collect his top honor. Quinn came up just 0.05 seconds shy of a new ODAC record in the 110-meter hurdles as he finished seventh overall at 14.35 seconds.

EMU sophomore Grant Amoateng and Washington and Lee senior Mac Strehler round out the ODAC's competing athletes. Amoateng finished 13th in the triple jump with a mark of 14.16 meters (46' 5.50"). Strehler, who won the ODAC individual cross country title in the fall, capped his career in blue & white with an 18th place finish in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 31:38.39.
