Sixteen ODAC Standouts Qualify for NCAA Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The NCAA Division III OUtdoor Track & Field Championships return to action following a year-long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ODAC schools will be well represented in Greensboro, N.C., with 16 conference stars heading to the Irwin Track & Field Complex on the campus of North Carolina A&T.

Competition is slated to begin on Thursday, May 27, and continue thru Saturday, May 29. Competitors will participate in a full slate of championship events, including the women's pentathlon and men's decathlon.

This is the 11th time in league history that 10 or more student-athletes will don ODAC-member colors. Fifteen competitors entered the field in 2019. This year's contingent of 16 standouts is the fourth-largest in league history trailing the 17 qualifiers in 1998 and 2014 and the banner entry list in 2008 that included 26 competitors in an historic national showcase that featured 11 All-American performances from league individuals.
