MEN'S OUTDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Peter Fulton | Bridgewater | Sr. | Throws
Fulton, a senior from Bridgewater, Va., makes it two straight weeks of Bridgewater throws as the ODAC men's field weekly award winner after a stellar showing in three events at the Doc Jopson Invitational hosted by the Eagles. Fulton won both the hammer throw and the discus and finished second in the shot put, setting ODAC season-best marks in all three events. Fulton won the hammer with a toss of 56.04 meters (183-0.00). That is the #1 ranked throw in Division III so far this season and less than a meter off the conference record set by Shenandoah's Tucker Kindig last season. Fulton spun the discus 49.97-meters (163-11.00), which ranks #2 in the country. That is just 0.65 meters shy of the league standard set by former Lynchburg standout Seth McGuffin in 1995. Fulton's second-place heave of 14.48 meters (47-6.25) is a person-best in the shot put and slots 21st in Division III.

Frank Csorba | Lynchburg | Sr. | Distance
Csorba, a senior from Boydton, Va., went record-hunting at the Raleigh Relays over the weekend. Csorba improved upon his own ODAC and Lynchburg records in the 5,000-meter run as he posted a 63rd-place time in the multi-divisional competition of 14:17.06. That snapped his previous league and school records from 2021 by 5.53 seconds. It is the third fastest time in Division III so far this season and, with plenty of season left to improve, would have earned him a trip to last season's national championships in the event.

Kacey Kelley | Lynchburg | Fy. | Jumps
Kelly, a first-year from Woodbridge, Va., opened eyes in her first collegiate track & field competition as the multi-sport (basketball) star competed at the Dr. Jack Toms Alumni Invitational hosted by Lynchburg. Kelly finished several overall and first among Division III competitors in the triple jump at 11.73 meters (38-6.00). That not only is the best time in the ODAC this year, but it tops the seasonal chart in Division III. Kelly's leap is just 0.04 meters off last year's ODAC season-best jump posted by Virginia Wesleyan's Jaylyn Lane. It also is the best triple jump in women's Lynchburg history, indoor or outdoors, eclipsing the indoor mark set by Aniya Seward this year and the outdoor standard she established in 2021.

Adalia Coleman | Bridgewater | Jr. | Sprints
Coleman, a junior from Warrenton, Va., is already the two-time "fast woman in the Division III indoor world" as the two-time 60-meter dash championship put herself in the early national conversation following her appearance at the Doc Jopson Invitational hosted by Bridgewater. Coleman posted a personal-best mark in the 200-meter dash, winning the event in 24.28 seconds. That time is not only #1 in the ODAC, but tops the Division III seasonal chart by 0.52 seconds over Ahnia Cherry from N.C. Wesleyan. Coleman is within a half-second of ODAC record (23.87) set by former Eagle Amber Celen in 2017.
